Please, I know you're busy, and that this is a terribly difficult time, but I want to let you know about research that cheese, and dairy in general is a major contributor to cancer. It makes sense, in that milk is full of hormones (natural as well as genetically engineered) and that it is designed by nature to enhance rapid growth of a calf into a cow.
T. Colin Campbell's excellent new book, the China Project has details on the diet and disease connection, which I'm sure you won't have time to fully read.... but I just want to share the power of really good nutrition in treating cancer, and that means getting organic fruits and vegetables, if at all possible.
I want to contribute, but I'm hoping that with my contribution, you'll consider sharing super-healthful recipes, in place of the junk food and cancer-promoting ones. Dairy protein is a carcinogen. you can turn tumour development on, then off, then on, and then off again depending solely on the level of casein in the diet, this was animal research by T. Colin Campbell, but his human research on diet and disease is equally compelling!
I wish you ALL the best in your struggle, and please send best wishes to Katie as well.
